Who we are
A social enterprise, built to sustain a mission
UbuTechHub is a Tanzanian social enterprise that designs, builds and deploys digital solutions for African businesses, and simultaneously invests in the people and communities that technology so often leaves behind. We operate commercially because that is how we sustain the mission. We operate with purpose because that is who we are.
Our name tells our story. Ubu comes from Ubunifu, the Swahili word for creativity and innovation. Tech is technology, clear and universal. Hub is a center of activity, a gathering point, an ecosystem connector. UbuTechHub means a hub where African creativity meets technology.
